The secret ingredients of 10 years of Diversity: we've grown layer by layer

What gives this composition its unique flavor?

If the story of Diversity were a cake, each layer would reveal defining moments, experiences, and challenges that give this composition its unique flavor. But what is the "secret" ingredient that has held it all together? Looking back over the past 10 years, the answer is clear: courage.

Courage to approach our first clients, to develop our first campaigns and strategies, and even to create the first sketched capybara, which has since become Diversity’s mascot. Behind every layer was a decision to dare to do something different, never settling for what is "just good enough."

The Foundation: Stories

Every cake needs a solid foundation; our base has formed around our intention of understanding every man's story. We didn’t just want to communicate; we want to connect—discovering the values that truly matter and transforming them into stories.

In the early years, this was mostly reflected in social media campaigns, as we kept asking ourselves: What can genuinely have a lasting impression on people? This question drove us forward and led us to explore meaningful experiences.

The Layer of Experiences: Impact Beyond Words

We uncovered the secrets of event communication during the first Untold Festival, and we applied those lessons at the VIBE Festival. For the first time, we felt we were going beyond conventional campaigns because, at VIBE, we needed to create a full-fledged experience. The goal wasn’t just to get more clicks or shares but to evoke emotions and build genuine connections.

Courage was, once again, an indispensable ingredient. Emerging from student organizations we dreamed big—and from that dream, the largest Hungarian festival in Transylvania was born.

Every Project, a New Layer

Each project added a new layer to Diversity's story. We have clients who have been with us for 10 years, like Roata Făget, and others who regularly turn to us for creative work, such as Babeș-Bolyai University. We created the brand identity for Sepsi Tabakó Festival, helped reposition the Kálnoky Castle as a venue for events, and played a part in organizing the first IT conference in Târgu Mureș, Limitl3SS.

At the Hot Air Balloon Parade, the oldest event of its kind in Romania, we quite literally soared to new heights for fresh perspectives—and learned that the greatest heights can be reached when you add enough heat, or rather, passion, to lift you.

Today, we are strategic marketing partners for projects like Septimia Resort in Odorheiu Secuiesc, Exing Construct in Cluj-Napoca, Cyberjump Park in Bucharest, and Emudding, with national coverage. We are also responsible for the Romanian campaigns of the international toy distributor Schleich.

Every client and project has shaped us, adding a new layer to what we are today. For that, we are profoundly grateful.

Finding Strength in Challenges

The crisis brought on by the pandemic made it clear: Diversity wanted to be more than just an advertising agency. Our journey of redefining ourselves continued through the end of 2023, marking the start of a new chapter for Diversity. We restructured our operations, forming dedicated marketing and creative teams to better meet our clients' needs. Through this shift,  we introduced our marketing-sharing model and strengthened our commitment to experience-driven marketing.

The Indispensable Ingredient: A Great Team

Over 10 years, we haven’t just written stories; we’ve built experiences, created connections, and dared to dream big. Behind all of this has been a team without whom this story wouldn’t exist. Today, we’re a group of 15 passionate, creative, and versatile individuals—exceptional in their fields and also create great vibes while working.

The next layer is always ahead of us, full of possibilities, creative challenges, and bold new dreams.

Thank you for being with us on this journey! Happy Birthday, Diversity!
